Hopla6 › Hopla6 for teachers
For teachers of the 6th year of primary school

Your pupils practise.
You see where the class is stuck.

Hopla6 is a practice game for the CEB and the Vlaamse toetsen. You write a code on the board, your pupils play — no account, no email address — and you see at a glance which topics the class is struggling with.

Free for teachers, forever. No trial clock, no “upgrade for your class” screen, no advertising aimed at pupils. Parents pay for the home version; what you use in the classroom stays free.

🛡 No pupil accounts · No email addresses · Data held in Europe

Three steps, five minutes

1

Create your class

Two minutes, with your school address or any address at all. You get a six-character code.

2

Give your pupils the code

On the board, on a slip of paper, it makes no difference. They go to hopla6.be, type the code, pick a nickname and play. Nothing to install, nothing to remember.

3

Look at the class map

Every topic of the programme with the class's success rate against it, weakest first. Your next lesson has written itself.

What it changes for you

No pupil accounts

No email addresses, no passwords to reset on Monday morning, no licence to request. One code, and that is the whole setup.

The marking done before the lesson

The class map shows fractions in amber and proportionality in red before you carry twenty-two papers home.

The explanation repeated in your place

Every wrong answer gets a worked explanation, in the pupil's own language, at their own pace. The ones who need the fourth repetition get it without the other eighteen waiting through it.

The real programme

CEB for the French-speaking track, Vlaamse toetsen for the Flemish one. Written and reviewed by our own teacher team against the referentials, with a human teacher as the final check.

You see your class, and nothing else

Never a colleague's pupils. And a cell backed by fewer than three pupils stays hidden: this is not a tool for watching one particular child.

No budget, from anybody

Nothing to ask the head teacher for, no budget line to defend, no purchase order.

What we collect, and what we do not

For a pupil practising in class: a nickname they choose themselves, an avatar, the track, and their results. That is all.

Does your ICT coordinator want a processor agreement? Write to hello@hopla6.be — we will send one, or we sign your network's model.

What teachers ask us

Why is it free? Where is the catch?

There isn't one. Parents pay for the home version, and the best way for a family to find us is through a teacher they trust. We would rather say so plainly than pretend to be a charity.

Do I need the head teacher's permission?

For a free tool that collects no pupil identifiers, usually not. If your ICT coordinator wants a processor agreement, ask us for one.

We already have a platform.

Keep it. That is your method's platform. Hopla6 is exam practice for the final year, and it is free — we are not here to take a budget line you have already spent.

What if a question is wrong?

Report it with the button provided: it goes to the teachers who wrote it, and we fix it.

Can my pupils carry on at home?

Yes. At the end of a game the pupil gets a three-word Hopla code. A parent can claim it at home to pick up the progress. That is the family's business, not yours — nothing in the classroom depends on it.

Ready in five minutes

Create your class, write the code on the board. If it doesn't serve you, you have lost nothing but five minutes.
